The Directorate of Income Intelligence (DRI) on Monday recovered a big amount of gold in composite kind from the bathroom of an Indigo flight that arrived from Bahrain on the Cochin Worldwide Airport.
Appearing on a tip-off, DRI officers carried out a search of the flight, which led to the seizure of three,285 grams of gold, company sources right here mentioned.
The market worth of the seized gold is estimated at round Rs 2 crore.
They added that though an investigation has been launched, no arrests have been made to this point.
