Delhi colleges will resume courses from November 20 after Grap IV restrictions are lifted

All government-aided and personal colleges within the nationwide capital will resume courses in offline mode from November 20 as GRAP IV has been cancelled, an official round mentioned on Saturday.

A round issued by the Training Directorate mentioned that the choice has been taken in view of the advance of AQI and IMD/IITM’s expectations that there isn’t a indication of any sharp deterioration of AQI in Delhi within the close to future.

Courses for all college students from pre-school to class XII will resume from November 20 onwards, the round mentioned.

The Centre’s Graded Response Motion Plan (GRAP) for Delhi and Nationwide Capital Area (NCR) classifies air pollution management measures into 4 phases: Section I – Poor (AQI 201-300), Section II – Very Poor (AQI 301-400), Section III – – Extreme (AQI 401-450) and Stage IV – Extreme Plus (AQI above 450).

The round added that outside sports activities actions and morning meeting will stay suspended for one week.

“That is in continuation of the order dated 11/18/2023 by which winter break was declared from 11/9/2023 to 11/18/2023 as a consequence of extreme air high quality (AQI > 450) prevailing in Delhi at the moment,” the round learn.

The Training Directorate requested colleges to tell mother and father upfront in regards to the resumption of college.
